About this Bake

This is a cake made to look like a pair of pink ankle boots, carved from chocolate mud cake and filled with chocolate buttercream. It was then finished off with a covering of chocolate ganache and sugar paste.

When making an illusion cake, have the object you are trying to recreate next to you (or at least photos from every angle) to refer to.
