This is a two-layer lemon mascarpone cake with lemon cake layers, lemon curd and lemon mascarpone cream icing. It was a huge hit at the lunch table at work!

Be sure your cake layers and your mascarpone cream icing are cool in order to apply the icing without it melting or moving around everywhere.
