About this Bake
I haven't bought bread for about five years now. I started making my own sourdough when a local German bakery closed and I was bereft as I could no longer buy their bread, so I set out to replicate theirs, which I did! I always make two when I bake, so they have company!
Top tip
Use good quality Canadian very strong bread flour. For the best rise, do not pre-heat the oven; bake from a cold start.
