About this Bake

I made my own birthday cake. Strawberry sponge sandwiched with jam and buttercream. Decorated with fondant icing and a strawberries & cream buttercream. My Great Auntie Kath usually makes my cake but this year passed the baton to me.

Top tip

Cover your mixer with a towel when adding icing sugar to avoid inhaling a dust cloud of icing sugar.
