About this Bake
My amazing mum turned 60 last week so what better way to celebrate her birthday than bake her a lion cake. She loves lions and tigers and was over the moon with this. It's quite possibly my best cake to date. Inside was her favourite red velvet sponge with a cream cheese frosting.
Top tip
Always test the offcuts of the sponge before decorating it.
