About this Bake
Taking part in a local 'Bake Off', I entered my bakewell tart, following the stated recipe (Mary Berry), and won first prize! Having never made pastry or a bakewell tart before... I feel this is a bit of a feat!
Top tip
Bake the pastry blind for 15 minutes with baking beans, then for an extra five on its own - no soggy bottoms here!
