A celebratory chocolate and vanilla chequerboard cake, filled with raspberry buttercream and decorated in fondant. It was gobbled up in a matter of minutes!
Top tip
When copying a design as symbolic as the Union Jack, it's important to be accurate - and so I used a ruler to measure the fondant and check spacing.
