About this Bake
This recipe was slightly modified from the original to use almond flakes instead of coconut shavings for the frosting. The frosting is also made of milk and flour instead of standard buttercream, which was a pleasant change and super delicious!
Top tip
The original recipe used coconut instead of almonds. After baking it and tasting it, almond flakes were definitely the right choice!
