About this Bake

The bottom tier is a vanilla cake, filled with strawberry jam, fresh strawberries and mascarpone whipped cream. The middle tier is a chocolate cake, with the same filling, all topped with a small heart-shaped chocolate Genoise sponge cake.

Top tip

Bake all the cakes the day before so all that is left on the day is assembly. Also adding ΒΌ mascarpone cheese to the whipped cream works well to stabilise it!
