About this Bake

This cake was made for a birthday. An apple sponge cake layered with apple compote, white chocolate Italian meringue buttercream and caramel. Covered in caramel Italian meringue buttercream, and decorated with a salted caramel, freshly made apple crips and honeycomb.

Top tip

Add the freshly made apple crisps just before serving to retain their crunch.
