About this Bake
This was a cake I chose to make for my mum's birthday. I had never made red velvet cake before or the icing roses. the icing is a cream cheese frosting following the traditional flavours.
Top tip
Use a rolling pin to help hold the shape of your leaves while the icing goes hard.
