About this Bake
My first ever attempt at using fondant icing. This is a madeira cake with strawberry jam and buttercream filling, covered with fondant icing and decorated in The Octonauts theme for my son's 4th birthday.
Top tip
Work quickly with the fondant as once it dries it starts to crack.
