About this Bake
I created this red-fleshed apple cake after discovering a packet of red-fleshed apples in the supermarket. I used the red and black colours for a Halloween theme and the red to go with the red flesh of the apple. Quite proud of this one!
Top tip
My main baking tip for this bake would be to make sure to add a little bit of flour with the egg incorporation to prevent the mixture curdling. I also used yoghurt in the icing too, with the icing sugar instead of water, and it worked perfectly.
