About this Bake
This was a white chocolate and pistachio sponge with vanilla buttercream. I made it for a belated 80th birthday for my mum as I was in America in February when her birthday was.
Top tip
Make the fondant decorations well in advance as they are easier to handle when dry but still soft enough to eat. You can add Tylose powder but too much and they become harder to eat.
