A passionate Portuguese polyglot pocket rocket, Clara is a bundle of energy and believes “the first bite of a bake is always with the eyes”. She loves creating colourful, chaotically beautiful designs, balanced with fresh, fruity flavours. Originally from Aveiro in Portugal, Clara moved to the UK at 18 to study marketing. She began baking cakes two years ago as a creative outlet, and then recreating Portuguese classics like Tarte de Nata for her British fiancé Kieran and his family. Clara’s greatest loves are her spaniel Gigi and pygmy hedgehog, Pecan, and she is happiest when surrounded by animals. A self-confessed “fantasy girly”, Clara is bringing plenty of colour, warmth and Portuguese sunshine to the Tent.
