What first inspired you to bake?
My sister used to do profiteroles and decadent chocolate cakes. As a six-year-old 12 profiteroles looked like Mount Everest.
What has been your biggest baking disaster ever?
Probably everything I tried to do on The Great British Bake Off!
And your baking triumph ever?
My son’s birthday cake, it was a 3-tier Alice in Wonderland theme and it took me about three days.
How does the presence of Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry affect your nerves in the kitchen?
I really wanted to impress, unfortunately that didn’t happen as often as I would have liked!
What is your biggest fear in the kitchen?
Making stupid mistakes on national telly!
